The woman behind the curtain:

I created this website back in 1997 because of the difficulty I had in locating information.  I wanted to spare other's the trouble of having to look for the same material over and over again.  I continue to run and maintain this site by myself.  It is a labor of love although I have periods of time in which I struggle with the effort it takes to keep it "fresh," informative, and helpful. I am an adoptive mother of two.  My two children are currently under ten.  I breastfed both of my children.  One considerably longer than the other.  They demand most of my attention so the work on this site comes mainly from my "sleep time."   Hopefully it will help you on your journey.
