I have adapted the lact-aid to
work with a baby bottle. There are 2 ways this can be done. First way is
to take 2 silicone nipples and cut the nipples off so you only have 2
silicone disks. Now sandwich the lactaid unit between these and put in
bottle collar and screw on the bottle. Now you may need to loosen the
lid slighty, because it can cause a suction sometimes and keeps the
fluid flowing.
The second and easiest way to make one. Okay take a bottle with a
silicone nipple. First cut a larger hole in the nipple. Now put the
nipple on the bottle nipple upside down in the bottle. Slip your lact-aid
extention tube through the nipple hole into the bottle.(make sure its a
snug fit) Followed by screwing the ring over it and on the bottle.
There you have it!
SUMMARY
Just turn the nipple upside down slip your lact-aid extention tube
through it and secure with the collar and snap on a lid. You are set and
ready! This is by far the easiest and quickest way for me.
I can use it with the 3 ounce nursettes( the glass bottles from ready
feed Infamil). Or 4 ounce ones. You could even use with an 8 ounce
bottle if you like. But with a longer extention tube of course. It sure
will save alot of money on bags at home
